Yellow Nose On Seeking Peace Within the Chaos
Project: N-04, 2020
Words: Hsin-Ying Ho & Kai-Ming Tung
N-04 is a collection we’ve created right before the pandemic. The world was still running as usual, and we were constantly seeking peace within the chaos, trying to harness calmness from turmoil.
It was hard to stand still in the noises of the city. But during lockdowns, when the whole world was slowing down, we found the balance of our inner self again—which is what we always try to achieve with our work.
Take a step back into calmness to see what’s essential amid the chaos.
Yellow Nose is a Berlin-based studio founded in 2017 by Hsin-Ying Ho and Kai-Ming Tung—a Taiwanese duo with backgrounds in architecture. Following a desire to create using raw materials in unforeseen ways, they craft with the organic to present items that are usually inorganic, display their logic through emotional processes, and ultimately propel their craft forward through waves of industrial design.
