Aspekt Office On Opening Up to Project Complexities

Aspekt Office On Opening Up to Project Complexities

Project: Work&Co, 2020
Words: Aspekt Office

The renovation of Work&Co offices was the largest project we’ve ever done (quite literally, too—the space measures 600sqm). They already had offices in São Paulo, Brooklyn, Portland, Rio de Janeiro and Belgrade, all embracing the design characteristics of their specific location. The new Copenhagen office was imagined in much the same way—as a natural extension of its surroundings, incorporating the Scandinavian expression and aesthetics. We managed all the aspects of the renovation: from coordinating suppliers, craftsmen and providers, to consorting with a very aware and expert client. So many things to keep under control!

We have learned that in solution building, clients are experts in their own needs—and that we should never underestimate them.

Better to be prepared for a project twice the size than to underestimate its complexity.

Aspekt Office is a Copenhagen-based multidisciplinary design studio specialising in furniture, product, interior design and creative direction.
